Mosier Building

This is the Byron J Mosier Building on the NE corner of Chestnut and Main Street.  The building was a tobacco shop in the earliest days.  It was also a bakery.  Presently it is Leo's Malt Shop, another favorite place to enjoy a lively, good and quick meal. Photo credit, Mr. John Runk, courtesy of the Stillwater Public Library. The tobacco shop was famous for the wooden cigar store icon, which now resides in the Minnesota History Museum.
